Hope Empowerment Foundation was established as an independent nonprofit organization based in Washington, DC. We were created to empower individuals, strengthen organizations, and expand opportunities for underserved communities through workforce development, training, and economic empowerment.
Recognizing the need for alternative pathways to economic self-sufficiency, we expanded our workforce initiatives by launching M Barr Trucking LLC, creating employment opportunities within the transportation and logistics industry. We later established a licensed and bonded Courier Services Division — providing professional medical, legal, and specialized delivery services while creating additional career opportunities for community members. Today, Hope Empowerment Foundation continues to transform lives and strengthen communities through innovation, leadership, and community engagement.
